“With my head I think, from my heart I sing and with my hand to my face I pray…”

-Sister Hazel, Strange Cup of Tea

Angela is a writer-in-waiting. She was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. From the beginning, it has been about story-telling. Whether she’s writing or practicing her theatrical skills—Angela’s life has revolved around make-believe.  Angela wrote and produced a musical at a small theatre in town.

She’s participated in over thirty theatrical productions and has toured in a Broadway theatre group.

After completing her first novel she decided to try something new and film a live book trailer. She casted, directed, edited and wrote the scripts, also partnering with Joe Sanchez from StandAsOne Productions. Since then Angela wrote several books and is on the hunt for an agent.

Angela is a member of the Christian rock band Particle Blue.Their 3-song EP is available for download on Amazon and iTunes. See their website for tour dates. In June 2011, Angela married Joshua Parkhurst, long-time boyfriend and lead guitarist of Particle Blue. Together they live in Tampa Bay with their two mini-doxins, Cooper and Lily.

In her non-writing and singing life, she loves watching football (Gators/Denver Baby!), Baseball and watching Nascar.  She loves coffee/tea, pink(color), IKEA, Sister Hazel and everything Disney.
